Impact Cases
has the experience, design intuition and expertise to provide armed
forces, government agencies and prime contractors with the right
aluminum case for every military application.
Aluminum's high strength to weight ratio, plus the fact that its
strength and integrity is temperature independent makes aluminum
the obvious case material choice over plastic, wood or plywood for
all operational theatres. Impact's Military cases won't warp, blister
or rot like wood or plywood laminate cases. They won't crack in
the cold or sag and warp in the heat like plastic cases, and they
can handle ultra heavy superimposed stack loads without stress on
the payload.
We shape aircraft grade aluminum to exacting tolerances using precision
Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machinery and incorporate our proprietary
strength and closure features. All Impact Military cases are designed
and manufactured I.A.W. applicable MIL standards / specifications
and provide unrivalled durability and functionality under any conditions.Unlike
working with plastic, creating customized cases with aluminum releases
you from expensive retooling costs and lengthy lead times. In addition,
aluminum has natural EMI/RFI shielding properties which are a valuable
asset when dealing with electronics and tempest related applications.
Impact's Military cases are airtight / watertight and designed around
your specific payload. A design consultation first reviews the application
and requirement before a detailed proposal is submitted for review
and consideration. Once the most appropriate solution has been chosen,
Impact's design professionals use state-of-the-art parasolid modelling
software to generate a virtual prototype and / or technical drawings
for review and input. This virtual prototype phase assures that
the final product is exactly as anticipated. Changes can be made
and "what if" scenarios can be examined during this phase
without the worry of being committed to a particular design or configuration.
Once the virtual prototype or technical drawings have been approved,
actual production begins with the confidence that the end product
will be exactly as anticipated. Military prime contractors and government
agencies have worked with Impact Cases to design and develop specialized
cases and containers for applications including:
• Test systems for vehicles, aircraft,
ordinance items, and electronics
• Power conversion technologies
• Counterintelligence and electronic warfare systems
• Deployable computer systems and communications suites
• Spare parts kits for vehicles and aircraft
• Ultra sensitive devices, including gyroscopically stabilized
optical devices (including FLIR) and inertial navigation systems
• Disaster response team mobilization systems
