USAR Containerization System
An equipment organization and rapid deployment system for multi-service disaster response teams.
USAR teams needed to organize thousands of individual equipment pieces for rapid 24/7 deployment in response to natural and man-made disasters. Requirements included weatherproof containers, heavy payload capacity, multiple inter-stackable case sizes that maintained consistent cubic volume when stacked, palletization capability, and dedicated storage for each equipment piece.
Impact Cases designed a four-size container system combining full-length/full-height, full-length/half-height, half-length/full-height, and half-length/half-height cases. The full-length cases share the same footprint, allowing two to fit side-by-side on standard pallets. Each container received custom CNC-cut interiors matched to specific equipment, with colour-coded lids for rapid functional identification on-site.
